REAL MADRID ace Sergio Ramos will not be fazed by the reaction England fans give him at Wembley today as the Three Lions host Spain.
Both sides start their Nations League campaign in London tonight (7.45pm) in Ramos’s 1st game in England since the Champions League final win over Liverpool.
The defender tangled with Mohamed Salah during that match causing the Egyptian to injure his shoulder and being forced to run off the game.
Liverpool fans slated Ramos for his part in the incident with a lot of claiming he deliberately hurt the Reds’ star man. But the Real Madrid captain insists he’s not worried about any likely backlash at Wembley tonight.
"I never go onto the pitch with the intention of injuring another professional so I have a very clear conscience," Ramos said.
"If the Premier League is known for something it's for the good reception it always gives to the best players.
"I've come here to win with Spain and I don't care what people might say or how I will be received."
Ramos just reignited the fire with Liverpool at the Champions League draw.
“I watched that back, of course,” said Klopp. “If you watch it back and you’re not with Real Madrid, then you think it’s ruthless and brutal. You don’t think, ‘Wow, good challenge’.
“It was ruthless. I don’t think Mo would have always got injured in that situation, and this time it was unlucky, but it’s an experience that we cannot have.
“Ramos said a lot of things that I didn’t like. As a person I didn’t like the reactions of him. He was like ‘Whatever, what do they want? It’s normal’. No, it’s not normal.”
